The OpenMaji team is a design team born in 2009 for the development of the OpenMaji project. It is composed by 3 professionals:

Lorenzo Banchini: born in Fiesole (Florence) on 4th August 1983 is a product designer graduated at ISIA Florence in 2010. He’s interested in product development, product engineering, 3d modeling. He’s also interested in photography.

Antonio Scribano: born in Ragusa on 20th February 1984 and graduated at ISIA Florence in Product Design course in 2010, is a product designer interested in product development, communication, branding and design management. He’s also interested in photography and web design.

Giovanni Del Signore: born in Pavia on 7th April 1934 and graduated in physics at University of Pavia (Italy), from 1993 till now he is involved in the study and research on technologies aimed to the purification and potabilization of drinking water for the developing countries. He is lecturer on Materials Technology and Innovative Technologies at the Design School ISIA in Florence
He carried out intense experimental research in alternative energies with particular regard to the use of solar energy.
He owns six patents in the field of optics, electronics and electrochemistry and 23 publications in the field of Solid State Physics, optics, physiological optics, electronics and solar energy.
